Terms of Use

Last updated October 7, 2026

Ask Wick is a free educational website about the orthodontic work of Dr. R.G. “Wick” Alexander, operated by Izzy Alexander (“we”). By using Ask Wick you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.

A free beta

Ask Wick is in a free beta. Features and content may change, be unavailable for a time, or be removed, and we may end the beta at any point. Paid plans may be offered later.

Educational content, not medical advice

Everything on Ask Wick, including the books, lectures, cases, course, and the answers from the assistant, is for education of dental and orthodontic professionals. It is not medical or dental advice, a diagnosis, or a treatment plan for any patient. Clinical decisions remain the responsibility of the treating clinician, using their own judgment and the standards that apply where they practice.

The assistant can make mistakes

Answers from the assistant are generated by an AI model from Dr. Alexander’s published material. They can be incomplete, out of date, or wrong, and translations into languages other than English are made by machine. Check the cited source pages before relying on an answer. Summaries, quizzes, and subtitles marked as drafts or machine translations have not all been reviewed by the family.

No patient-identifiable information

Do not upload, paste, or post anything that could identify a patient: names, faces, dates of birth, record numbers, or similar details. This applies to chat questions, attached files, and community posts. Remove identifying details before you share an x-ray, photo, or document. You are responsible for having the right to share anything you submit.

Your account

During the beta you sign in with just your email address, with no password or code, so anyone who types your address can reach your account. Don’t keep anything in your saved conversations you’d mind someone else seeing. Invitation codes are for the people they were given to.

Community

Be respectful in discussions. Don’t post anything unlawful, misleading, promotional, or that identifies a patient. We may remove posts or suspend accounts that break these terms.

Copyright

The books, lectures, recordings, slides, case records, and other material on Ask Wick belong to the Alexander family and are used with their permission. You may read and watch them on the site for your own learning, and quote short passages with credit. You may not copy, download in bulk, republish, sell, or use them to train other AI systems without written permission.

You keep ownership of what you write. By posting in the community or sending feedback, you allow us to show it on the site and use it to improve Ask Wick.

Acceptable use

Don’t try to break, overload, or get around the site’s security or access rules, scrape it with automated tools, or use it in a way that harms other readers.

No warranty and limits on liability

Ask Wick is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss or harm arising from your use of the site or reliance on its content, including clinical outcomes.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version, and continuing to use the site means you accept the update. Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect. Questions: hello@askwick.ai, or use Send feedback.
